Will Fulford Scholarship

The Scholarship
A Running Passion was founded in March 2017 to honor the life and legacy of Will Fulford, a beloved member of the Maine running community. Following his untimely passing, an outpouring of support from student-athletes, parents, and community members led to the creation of the Will Fulford Scholarship Fund. Spearheaded by Will’s wife, Ashley Potvin-Fulford, the fund not only provides college scholarships but also supplies running shoes, sports equipment, and financial assistance to students. A Running Passion continues Will’s coaching legacy by removing financial barriers in cross country and track and field sports, benefiting young people. So far, the organization has awarded $77,500 in college scholarships to carry on Will’s mission of guiding student-athletes and nurturing their passions and aspirations.
