NEW PROGRAM! Between reflecting on Will’s constant drive to improve himself as a coach and speaking with local coaches—-we are proud to announce the Professional Development Fund for Coaches! Often times, track and field coaches are asked to coach events that they may not be familiar with. The funds available for coaches to attend clinics and conferences is limited. Many times, coaches unfortunately have to pay out of pocket for such events.
This weekend we were able to send Biddeford High School’s Coach Chris Quint to the New England Track and Field Clinic in Massachusetts! “Attending conferences like the New England Track & Field Clinic allows me to learn from some of the best track & field coaches in the country and ultimately bring that knowledge back to the Biddeford High School Track & Field team to continue to build the best possible program that I can,” said Quint. “The financial support that A Running Passion provided to me was essential for me to attend this conference. It is great to know there is an organization out there that is committed to enhancing the lives of student athletes and coaches like A Running Passion.”
