Since last spring (2022), ARP has partnered with various community partners to help neighbors in need get access to quality footwear. ARP has worked with both Seeds of Hope Neighborhood Center and Biddeford Adult Education English Language Learners to help distribute over 125 pairs of shoes to those in need. The highlight of a summer delivery to Seeds of Hope came when a neighbor helping Ashley unload her car said, “I never thought I would wear a pair of running shoes. Look, I’m wearing Brooks!” The board continues to work with Fleet Feet in an effort to repurpose their returned shoes to community agencies and partners.
