While we haven’t been able to carry out a ton of normal shoe and travel referrals this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the ARP board still found a way to help keep kids active! This spring the board voted to donate 24 spring break kits to the new non-profit Maine Needs. These kits were then distributed to kids in need throughout the state of Maine. Each kit contains: a soccer ball, ball pump, jump rope, frisbee, bubble wand, and sidewalk chalk. We were happy to partner with another local non-profit working to address the needs of young Mainer’s during these challenging times.
