Saturday August 10th was the Annual Spurling charity 5K, held by Spurling Fitness Gym in Kennebunk Maine. This year the group choose A Running Passion as the race beneficiary! We want to give a special thank you to Chris La Croix, the race director, for doing such a fantastic job.
This years race had 177 participants with many A Running Passion Race team members, board members, and supporters competing in the event. The ARP’s race team member Christopher Dunn won the race with a time of 16:35, and the fastest women that day was Abigail Broadley who ran a fast 19:01! ARP race team members also won awards for 2nd and 3rd female overall, 1st female age group 15-19, 1st and 2nd female in age group 20-29, and 2nd female in age group 50-59.
